After completing its very first out of the factory crate piano tuning and keyboard calibration of a brand new ($124k) Steinway B Spirio player piano at the Steinway Paramus Gallery, I’m now testing with Claude Debussy’s Claire de lune from our Steinway technicians playlist. The piano will go through many more rigorous tunings, action regulation and keyboard calibration before it is delivered to its lucky new owner!
